Popup CTA doesn't work properly

We use the CTA to display the form in a pop-up window and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. In incognito mode in Chrome it mostly doesn’t work, so this is a good place to test. An error appears:

“web-interactives-embed.js:1 Uncaught DataCloneError: Failed to execute ‘postMessage’ on ‘Window’: Port at index 0 is already neutered.
at HTMLIFrameElement.handleFrameLoaded”

Anyone has idea what causes the problem?

Hi,

My sales team wants to change the input they have in a custom property. They already use that propery, but want to change some of the inputs they can choose from (so not completely change all options). I am aware that internal name can’t be changed.

Is changing a few labels a good practice and how will it impact reporting? And are there any other things to consider when changing already exisiting inputs to custom properties?

Thanks!

Hi team,

I’m looking to set up notifications for when HubSpot fails to post social media updates. I want to be alerted if there’s an issue so I can address it promptly.

Does anyone know how to configure notifications for failed social posts in HubSpot or if there are any best practices for monitoring these errors? Any advice or tips would be really helpful.

Thanks!

Regards

Darshan Hiranandani

We don’t have a high enough plan to use raw HTML for our forms, so we are limited in what we can do.

We want to use ReCAPTCHA on the forms, but it adds the large blue badge between the form and the submit button, and ruins any styling we might have.

Is there a way to make the badge display in the bottom corner of the page instead? I’d rather hide the badge completely, but since I can’t affect the iframe CSS, I can’t just hide it.

I recently completed all the videos and quizzes needed in order to take my exam at the end of the course and for some reason, each time I click begin exam or in my case restart exam since it keeps blocking me, the exam will open the first question then immediatley shows a message that says, ” Time’s up! Ready to see how you did?” I don’t click on anything else besides start exam and I have tried it on different browsers as well and it keeps happening. Has anyone experienced this and can help me?

Roy L. Layne, an Arizona resident, pleaded guilty yesterday to wire fraud and filing a false refund claim with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Layne admitted to fraudulently obtaining over $850,000 from the IRS and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) through various COVID-19 relief programs.

According to court documents and statements made in court, Layne engaged in fraudulent activities in 2020 and 2021 by submitting false applications on behalf of several fictitious businesses to secure loans from the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program. These federal programs were established to provide financial assistance to Americans affected by the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Layne falsely claimed that his bogus businesses employed dozens of individuals and generated hundreds of thousands of dollars in gross receipts. To support these fraudulent claims and create the appearance of legitimate business operations, Layne fabricated business and employment tax forms, which he filed with the IRS and submitted to the SBA. As a result, Layne received more than $300,000 in loans for which he was not eligible.

In addition to his fraudulent loan applications, Layne filed false tax returns with the IRS in 2022, seeking nearly $7.5 million in refunds. The IRS paid approximately $550,000 in response to these fraudulent refund claims.

Layne is scheduled to be sentenced on February 3, 2025. He faces a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison for each wire fraud charge and five years for the false claim charge. In addition to imprisonment, Layne could face a period of supervised release, restitution, and monetary penalties. A federal district court judge will determine the final sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.

The announcement of Layne’s guilty plea was made by Acting Deputy Assistant Attorney General Stuart M. Goldberg of the Justice Department’s Tax Division and U.S. Attorney Gary M. Restaino for the District of Arizona.

The investigation into Layne’s activities was conducted by IRS Criminal Investigations and the FBI. The case is being prosecuted by Trial Attorney Matthew R. Hoffman of the Justice Department’s Tax Division and Assistant U.S. Attorney Mary Sue Feldmeier for the District of Arizona.

A California man, Craig David Davis, 49, of Venice, has pleaded guilty to wire fraud charges in the Eastern District of Virginia. Davis admitted to defrauding multiple Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act programs, including the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and the Main Street Lending Program (MSLP), of more than $10 million.

Davis, the owner of Bright Vanguard LLC, which he falsely presented as a legitimate computer hardware retailer and storage space provider, submitted fraudulent loan applications under these programs in 2020. According to court documents, Davis falsely claimed that Bright Vanguard had substantial sales and employed as many as 17 individuals. In reality, Bright Vanguard had no employees and generated no legitimate revenue. To support his fraudulent claims, Davis provided banks with falsified tax returns, payroll documents, and financial statements.

In addition to the CARES Act fraud, Davis also confessed to his involvement in a years-long scheme to defraud commercial equipment lenders. This scheme involved directing business owners to submit loan applications for purchasing computer equipment, supported by invoices from companies like Bright Vanguard. After the lenders approved the loans and disbursed the funds, Davis and his co-conspirators kept a portion of the proceeds while remitting the majority to the borrowers. No equipment was actually provided, despite what was shown on the fraudulent invoices. This scheme resulted in over $60 million in fraudulently induced lending across more than 350 separate loans.

Davis is scheduled for sentencing on December 12, 2024. He faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison. The final sentence will be determined by a federal district court judge, who will consider the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.

The announcement of Davis’s guilty plea was made by Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Nicole M. Argentieri, head of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division, and U.S. Attorney Jessica D. Aber for the Eastern District of Virginia. The investigation was led by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Office of Inspector General (FDIC OIG) Mid-Atlantic Region, the Department of the Treasury’s Special Inspector General for Pandemic Recovery, and IRS Criminal Investigation (IRS-CI).

The case is being prosecuted by Trial Attorney David A. Peters of the Criminal Division’s Fraud Section, along with Assistant U.S. Attorneys Drew Bradylyons and Katherine Robeson for the Eastern District of Virginia, with substantial assistance from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland.
